Rashami Desai is an Indian film & television actress. She is famous for portraying the role of Tapasya Raghuvendra Pratap Rathore in Uttaran (2009-14).
She was born in Nagaon, Assam and brought up in Mumbai. She did her schooling and college from mumbai.
Rashami Desai is a trained classical dancer.
Rashami Desai married her Uttaran co-star, Nandish Sandhu on February 12, 2012 in Dholpur. But they were separated in 2014 and finally got divorced in 2015.
Before making it big on television, Rashami worked in many “B Grade” Bhojpuri films from 2002-2010.
In 2019, Arhaan Khan proposed Rashami Desai during Bigg Boss 13 and she accepted his proposal. But later Salman Khan revealed that Arhaan was married earlier and has a child from his previous marriage. The couple broke up after coming out from the Bigg Boss house.
In 2019, Rashami revealed that she was suffering from psoriasis, a skin disease.
